Nodes, agents, and relays
Nanami uses a few core components to build private connectivity.
Nodes
Nodes are the devices or workloads that join a private network. They can be servers, laptops, or edge devices.
Agents
Agents run on nodes and maintain the WireGuard tunnels defined by the control plane. They report health and apply policy updates.
Relays
Relays provide stable routing between nodes that cannot reach each other directly. They are typically deployed per region.
Tip
Keep relays close to your users to reduce latency and improve connectivity.
